Courtney hosted a super fun Book Club on Thursday! She made two delicious chilis - veggie and turkey and a really good corn bread and salad. And who can forget the Fo-nuts? I'm still not sure why they're called that but they were good! Oh and I keep thinking about that edamame hummus - delicious!
I think Suzy was the only one who fully finished the book though Court and I came close. So, as usual the discussion tilted towards, what else, sweaty, stinky balls and a few comforting stories of natural childbirth full of hemroids and inside-out anuses. Can't wait! I stayed way past my bedtime because it's so hard to stop talking to you girls! In attendance was Hostess Courtney, Suzy, Tamar, AmyS, Liesel, AlmostFullyCooked Ann et PartiallyCooked Moi!
See y'all in January! xx

The Paris Wife by Paula McClain
September Book Club at Bianca's This month's Book Club was loads of fun, as usual! I love hanging out with my girlfriends. Bianca made lots of delicious treats - three different salads along with chicken, hummus and vegan cookies. Maybe you can post the recipes, Bianca? It's pretty clear in the pic but members present were Tamar, Courtney, Liesel, Annie, Bianca, AmyR, AmySM, Suzy et moi. Here's the NYTimes review of the book. I think we all (those who read it:) liked it a lot.

Welcome to our Book Club Blog!
Hey Girls!
I've wanted to start a blog to chronicle our book club for a long time and in purging files recently I came across a "Book Club" file last updated in 2002 during our New York Book Club years. It listed the members and their info and the books we'd read since 1998.
With this blog I'd like to list the hostess, who attended, the book we read, what we ate or any stand out recipe, funny stories, maybe a pic? Simple. I think we have such a special, vibrant group and I'd love of keep track of it!
